Erasmus+ Traineeship
 
The Erasmus+ Traineeship programme allows enrolled students in a higher education institution to undertake a professional experience in another country. In the framework of the Erasmus + programme,  you can spend a minimum of 2 months to a full Academic year abroad for traineeship activities.
The mobility is carried out between a  sending and a receiving institution, both of which must hold the ECHE - Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. The same student can participate in more than one selection for Traineeship mobility periods up to a maximum of 12 months for each cycle of study, regardless of the number and type of mobility activities.
 
If you’re an Erasmus+ selected student for a Traineeship mobility at University of Messina, at receiving at erasmus@unime.ita formal nomination by your home University, we will directly contact you sending an e-mail containing all the useful informations and documents to produce in order to be accepted ( Application Form, Traineeship Agreement  and others).
 
You must send them backfilled in and signed and stamped by your University’s Responsible Person.
Your Didactic Coordinator at UniMe will evaluate your Traineeship Agreement and sign it if approved, then we will send you back by mail the document and an official acceptance message.
 
**Please note that Traineeship nominations for the Summer period ( August – September ) won’t be kept in consideration.**
 
 
**Language Requirements for Traineeship applicants**
 
Although UniMe offers a free Italian Language Course at the beginning of each semester, it is highly recommended that incoming students possess at least an intermediate knowledge of  Italian before coming to our University.
