The doctoral thesis of our student Salvatore Daniele Tomarchio (XXXIII Edition of our PhD in Economics, Management and Statistics) was awarded with the "Honorable Mention" by the Classification Society of North America. Quoting the motivation, "The award committee was impressed by his dissertation and believes that it presents a substantial contribution to the area of cluster classification and analysis."
