Curriculum Vitae Prof. Roberto Amato

Amato Roberto si è laureato nel corso di Laurea in Matematica il 5/10/1981, con il massimo dei voti e la lode, presso la Facoltà di Scienze dell'Università di Messina.

Dall'11 luglio al 14 agosto del 1982 Ha partecipato ai Corsi Estivi di Matematica di Perugia.

Nel novembre del 1983, in seguito a concorso, ha avuto assegnata una borsa di studio per poter frequentare i corsi tenuti presso la Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (S.I.S.S.A.) in Trieste nel settore di Analisi Funzionale.Tale borsa è stata mantenuta, superando regolarmente gli esami previsti, fino al 5/10/1987.
Nell'Anno Accademico 1984/85 ha conseguito presso la suddetta Scuola l'attestato di ricerca "Magister Philosophiae" con il massimo dei voti e la lode.

Nel febbraio del 1987 ha sostenuto gli esami di un concorso libero di Ricercatore presso l'Università di Messina, gruppo 90.
Risultato vincitore ha preso servizio il 5/10/1987 come Ricercatore presso la Facoltà di Scienze della suddetta Università afferendo al Dipartimento di Matematica.
Nel settembre del 1991 ha ottenuto la nomina di Ricercatore confermato gruppo 90 e tuttora si trova in servizio.

Dal 1981 ad oggi ha partecipato a numerosi convegni e congressi matematici in Italia ed in alcuni di essi ha tenuto brevi comunicazioni scientifiche.

L'attività scientifica è stata inizialmente rivolta verso il campo della teoria dei numeri e successivamente verso quello dell'analisi funzionale. In quest'ultimo settore ha studiato in particolare la differenziabilità per sistemi parabolici e la regolarità delle soluzioni per tali sistemi.Si è di recente interessato allo studio delle soluzioni non variazionali del problema di derivata normale associato a operatori ellittici non lineari. Ultimamente è tornato ad occuparsi di problemi inerenti il campo della teoria dei numeri studiando in particolare le caratterizzazioni delle terne pitagoriche.
L'attività di studio e di ricerca si è concretizzata, nel corso degli anni, nella stesura di varie pubblicazioni a suo unico nome.

L'attività didattica si è svolta presso l’Università degli Studi di Messina nell'ambito del corso di Laurea in Matematica, in Fisica, in Ingegneria Elettronica, in Ingegneria dei Materiali, in Ingegneria Industriale, in Ingegneria Elettronica e Informatica, in Scienze Nutraceutiche e Alimenti Funzionali, in Ingegneria Civile, Ambientale e della Sicurezza, in Scienze e Tecnologie della Navigazione.

Curriculum Vitae Prof. Roberto Amato

Amato Roberto graduated from the degree course in Mathematics on 5/10/1981, with full marks and honors, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Messina.

From 11 July to 14 August 1982 he participated in the Summer Mathematics Courses in Perugia.

In November 1983, following a competition, he was awarded a scholarship to be able to attend the courses held at the International School of Advanced Studies (S.I.S.S.A.)
in Trieste in the Functional Analysis sector. This scholarship was maintained, regularly passing the required exams, until 5/10/1987.
In the academic year 1984/85 he obtained the research certificate "Magister Philosophiae" with full marks and honors at the aforementioned School.

In February 1987 he took the exams of a free researcher competition at the University of Messina, group 90.
Winning result he joined the Department of Mathematics on 5/10/1987 as Researcher at the Faculty of Sciences of the aforementioned University.
In September 1991 he obtained the appointment of confirmed Researcher group 90 and is still in service today.

Since 1981 he has participated in numerous mathematical conferences and congresses in Italy and in some of them he has held short scientific communications.

The scientific activity was initially directed towards the field of number theory and subsequently towards that of functional analysis. In the latter sector he studied in particular the differentiability for parabolic systems and the regularity of the solutions for such systems.
He has recently been interested in the study of non-variational solutions of the normal derivative problem associated with non-linear elliptic operators. Lately he has returned to deal with problems inherent in the field of number theory, studying in particular the characterizations of the Pythagorean triples. The study and research activity has resulted, over the years, in the drafting of various publications under his sole name.

The teaching activity took place at the University of Messina as part of the degree course in Mathematics, in Physics, in Electronic Engineering, in Materials Engineering, in Industrial Engineering, in Electronic and Computer Engineering, in Nutraceutical Sciences. and Functional Foods, in Civil, Environmental and Safety Engineering, in Navigation Sciences and Technologies.
