Massimo Mucciardi (male) is an Professor of Social Statistics (s.s.d SECS-S/05) at the Department of Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, Education and Cultural Studies (COSPECS - University of Messina). He is member of SIS (Italian Statistical Association) and member of the Statistical Office of the University of Messina. He has also worked for the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) and has carried out numerous statistical surveys for Italian and foreign institutions. His main lines of research are: spatial statistical analysis in social science, GIS, survey sampling and polls, multivariate statistics. He has several publications in these fields.
