Laurea in Matematica presso l'Università degli Studi di Messina con la votazione di 110/110 e lode accademica, tesi di laurea dal titolo “Principio di massimo per operatori lineari ellittici del secondo ordine”, conseguita nel luglio 2003.
Dottorato di ricerca in Matematica (ciclo quadriennale) presso l'Università degli Studi di Messina, tesi di dottorato dal titolo “A variational approach to the Walrasian competitive equilibrium problem: existence theory, duality characterization and sensitivity analysis”. Il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca è stato conseguito nell’aprile 2008.
