Docente del Corso di “Aree e infrastrutture aeroportuali” nel corso di laurea Triennale in “Scienze e tecnologie della navigazione” dell’Università di Messina, A.A. 2021/22.Laurea Triennale e Magistrale in Ingegneria Civile, presso l’Università degli Studi di Messina rispettivamente nel 2010 e nel 2012.
Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria Civile, Ambientale e della Sicurezza, presso l’Università “Mediterranea” di Reggio Calabria (in convenzione con l’Università di Messina e l’Università “Kore” di Enna) nel 2017.

Vincitore di un premio nell’ambito del “Best Paper Award in memoria del Prof. Salvatore Enzo Piazza” del Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Università di Palermo nel 2020.

Speaker in numerous international scientific conferences and didactical seminars. Author of more than twenty papers published in indexed international journals.
Research topics: infrastructure and pavement engineering, with specific attention and interest in pavement asset management. Particular focus on pavement quality surveys and performance indicators, using modern monitoring technologies and analysis methodologies, also adopting artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques. Novel studies concerning possible BIM (Building Information Modeling) applications for highway smart design and pavement maintenance optimization. Other research activities on intelligent and innovative road design methodology, human factors while driving and sustainability of road materials and pavements.
