• Nella sessione del mese di febbraio 2010 si è abilitata all'esercizio della professione di Medico Chirurgo.
• Dal 2 marzo 2010 ad oggi è iscritta all'Albo professionale dei Medici Chirurghi della Provincia di Messina al n. 9546.
• Il 18/07/2016 ha conseguito la Specializzazione in Medicina Legale presso l'Università degli Studi di Palermo, con la votazione di 50/50 e lode.
• Nel mese di luglio 2016 è risultata vincitrice di concorso per assegnazione di una borsa di studio triennale inerente il progetto di ricerca “Morte improvvisa cardiaca in ambito forense: l’impiego dell’immunoistochimica in casi privi di chiare evidenze di danno istopatologico cardiaco”, bandito dal Dipartimento di Scienze Biomediche, Odontoiatriche e delle Immagini Morfologiche e Funzionali dell’Università di Messina.
• Nel mese di ottobre 2016 è risultata vincitrice del Concorso di Dottorato di Ricerca in Biotecnologie Mediche e Chirurgiche XXXII ciclo, afferente al Dipartimento di Medicina Clinica e Sperimentale dell’Università degli Studi di Messina ed il 30 ottobre 2019 ha conseguito il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca, discutendo la tesi "Post-mortem immunohistochemical analysis of dystrophin and matrix metalloproteinase 9 expression in sudden cardiac death due to coronary atherosclerotic disease”.
• Con D.R. 2044/2018 è stata nominata “cultore della materia” per il S.S.D. MED 43 – Medicina Legale – presso il Dipartimento di Patologia Umana dell’Adulto e dell’Età Evolutiva “Gaetano Barresi” dell’Università degli Studi di Messina, a decorrere dall’1 ottobre 2018, con validità triennale.
• Con D.R n. 2768/2020 è risultata vincitrice di concorso di Ricercatore universitario per il SSD MED 43 settore concorsuale 06/M2 presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Biomediche, Odontoiatriche e delle Immagini Morfologiche e Funzionali dell’Università degli Studi di Messina ai sensi dell’art. 24, comma 3, lettera a) della legge del 30 dicembre, n. 240;

• Dal 23 al 26 novembre 2011 ha partecipato alla II Edizione del corso teorico-pratico di “Entomologia Forense” promosso dal GIEF (Gruppo Italiano per l’Entomologia Forense) e tenutosi presso l’Università degli Studi di Bari.
• Nel mese di luglio 2013 ha frequentato il Corso teorico-pratico - Workshop di Osteologia e Antropologia – International Summer School (60 ore) diretto dalla prof.ssa Cristina Cattaneo del Centro “LABANOF”, tenutosi a Pontestura (AL).

Curriculum

EDUCATION AND FORMATION
Between October 2003 and July 2009, school of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Messina. During the last year of the course, research for the thesis on “Clinical Risk Management: new frontier of legal medicine”.  In July 27, 2009 degree with academic honours.
Between June 2011 and July 2016, post-graduate course (specialization) for Medical Doctor in Legal Medicine at the Palermo University. During the last year of the course, research for the thesis on preliminary results of an experimental study regarding the immunohistochemical diagnosis of early myocardial ischemia. In July 18, 2016 post-graduate degree with academic honours.
Between August 2016 and July 2019, scholarship in Legal Medicine at the University of Messina to study new immunohistochemical markers for the diagnosis of early myocardial infarction.
Since 10/1/2018 “Cultore della materia" in Legal Medicine, Degree Course of Medicine and Surgery, University of Messina, Italy.
In October 2019, awarding of PhD in Medical and Surgical Biotechnology at the University of Messina.
Since 12/29/2020, Researcher in Legal Medicine, University of Messina.

In July 20113, attendance at Forensic Anthropology workshop in Pontestura (Torino, ITALY), organize by LABANOF, University of Milano.
In July 2015, attendance at Forensic Histopathology of skin course in Napoli (ITALY), organized by Sapienza University.
Between August 2015 and October 2016, member of the task force created by the Italian High Commission for Missing People for the recovery and identification of the 728 victims of the shipwreck happened in the Mediterranean Sea on April 18, 2015.
Since 2011, attendance at Italian and International Convention on Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, with the contribution of posters and oral presentations.
