W.O.W. - Women.Orientation.Work

W.O.W. - Women.Orientation.Work is the career guidance project for women promoted by the Emblema Foundation, designed to give young undergraduates and recent graduates innovative tools that can support them in defining their professional goals and their career path. Within W.O.W. the first register of professions in the world was created, accompanied by clips shot with the technique of immersive reality.
It is possible to browse the register starting from personal and professional interests, listening to interviews with testimonials and, at the same time, visiting their work environment.
Within the W.O.W project, days to raise awareness of the issues of women's work are planned. The coaching module that we offer during these days focuses on the most important issues of entering the world of work in order to offer graduates and undergraduates information and guidance tools that can support them in defining a professional goal. Furthermore, an overview of the different alternatives present in the labor market will be offered in order to stimulate personal reflection on active research.
Issues related to self-employment and self-employment will be addressed: the orientation paths of W.O.W. aim to develop a new awareness of the change in progress, of the opportunities and of the new skills required by the labor market. The aim is to offer practical tools and moments of reflection that aim to undo the most common prejudices linked to the world of female work and to promote a vision of young women as necessary resources for the development of businesses.
The program for the University of Messina includes moments aimed at orientation, debate and discussion with professors of the Emblema Foundation and prominent testimonials, sources of inspiration, chosen by the University.
