The Unime Welcome Day will be held on 5 October from 4 pm at the Cortile del Rettorato (Headquarters), a day of celebration, dedicated to welcoming and sharing, which will be enriched by the "Piazza dell'Arte" event. with DJ sets and the presence of musical groups, organized by the student associations.
The inaugural ceremony of the initiative will take place at the staircase, with the institutional greetings of the Rector, prof. Salvatore Cuzzocrea and profs. Roberta Salomone (Vice Rector for Student Services), Antonino Germanà (Vice Rector for Internationalization), Candida Milone (Vice Rector for Didactics) and Pina Filippello (Rectoral Delegate for Orientation); in addition, part of the "Welcome address to international students" program at 4.30 pm will be dedicated to international students in the former Chemistry Classroom.
The chapter dedicated to the presentation of the University services will be broad and explanatory, with targeted insights into the university structures and the related exhibition desks, the Orientation and Placement Center (C.O.P.), the Info point sectors (with online services, concessions and bonuses. for students) and Internationalization (with the Welcome office and the Erasmus office), on the Student Secretariats, on the Disability / DSA Services Unit, on the Center for Research and Psychological Intervention (CeRIP), on the University Language Center (CLA ), on Post Graduate Training, on the University Library System (SBA), on the Sustainability Desk, on the Amateur Sports Society (SSD UniMe) and on Student Associations, with the help of some stands.
