"UniMeGames - 7-9 October, 1st edition of interdepartmental sports games
The first edition of UniMeGames, an interdepartmental sporting event, organized by the Peloritan University in collaboration and on the proposal of the "Crescendo" Ideas Incubator, will take place from 7 to 9 October at the University Citadel.

The date was chosen to coincide with the start of the new academic year, also to encourage the participation of freshmen in university sports activities.

The sports disciplines provided are: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Mixed Doubles Tennis and Swimming 4x50 relay.

After the Opening Ceremony, which will be held on the morning of 7 October in the presence of the Rector and the representatives of the Departments, the games will begin according to the calendar that will be published after the registration deadline. The morning of Sunday 9 October (and possibly the early afternoon) will be dedicated to the finals of the games; in the evening, there will be the Closing Ceremony with the awarding of the UniMeGames winning departmental representative and a welcoming party for the A.A. 2022/2023.

Team registrations can be made at the link https://ecv.microsoft.com/SHjMio7Snn starting from August 8th and until September 15th. All UniME students are invited to participate. The recognition of CFU for sporting activities is foreseen.
