Finally here we are!
We are proud to announce that the second edition of the Motorsporte Automotive Workshop "Studenti in Carena" will take place on 14, 15 and 16 December 2021 at the University of Messina.

In 2018, the guys from SIC - "Stretto in Carena", the official UNIME MotoStudent team and winner of the Best Rookie 2021, held the 2-day workshop "Students in Hull": personalities from the motorsport and automotive sector who told their story. experience to the students of the University of Messina, of the city schools, to the enthusiasts and to the interested companies.

The first edition saw as speakers colleagues from Maserati, AVL, Ducati, MegaRide, New Cast Service, 4D Engineering, VI-grade and SmartME.IO, talking about their experiences regarding the world of engines for two days to more than 700 enthusiasts. and students!

This year, the SIC Team together with the guys from the new Formula SAE ZeD Team - “Zancle e-Drive” will give life to the second edition of the workshop which aims to be the largest in southern Italy in the sector.

In fact, this second edition will be an even more intense "three days", with illustrious guests, many innovations and topics that will concern not only motorsport and automotive in the strict sense, but also the future of the sector, autonomous driving, mobility. sustainable, hybrid and electric propulsion and much more.

Among the many will be present Giovanni Crupi of Ducati SBK (track engineer from Redding), Ernesto Desiderio of Haas F1 (Performance Engineer), Giancarlo Michellone (former CEO of the FIAT Research Center), Salvatore Pennisi of Pirelli (Head of Global Testing & Technical Relation Pirelli), Mario Sgrò (Consorzio Ente Autodromo Pergusa)!

Last, but not least, the Team will show the public their prototype that competed in Aragon last July, winning the Best Rookie 2021 award.

On this occasion, there will be some important announcements that will put our University in a central position even more as regards the future of the "vehicles" sector.

The workshop will be in attendance at 15:00 on 14 December 2021 in the Aula Magna of the University of Messina (Piazza Pugliatti 1). On 15 and 16 December 2021 the event will start at 9:00 for the whole morning in the Aula Magna of the Engineering Department (Contrada di Dio, S. Agata).

CFUs will be issued for students of the University of Messina who participate in attendance.
