The appointment is renewed with the School of Excellence of the University of Messina and the Peloritana dei Pericolanti Academy, at Villa Amalia, within the suggestive complex of Villa Pace.

This year's edition will take place in the form adopted last year: three thematic meetings with illustrious personalities, focused on as many thematic areas: formal and experimental sciences and technologies; Life Sciences; Human, political and social sciences.

The schedule of appointments will be inaugurated on Tuesday 19 July, at 18.30, with the intervention of the marine biologist Roberto Danovaro, President of the A. Dohrn Zoological Station in Naples:

Professor Danovaro will hold a Lectio magistralis entitled Abissi: the last frontier of marine research, which will be followed by a debate, introduced and moderated by prof. Emilio De Domenico.

Same time and same format for the other two dates on the calendar: Wednesday 20 July prof. Luca Richeldi, Director of the Pneumology Unit at the Catholic University of Rome, will report on molecular mechanisms and therapeutic relapses in pulmonary fibrosis. It will be presented by prof. Gaetano Caramori; the Lectio on Friday 22 July, entitled Tradition and research, will be held by Maestro Ninni Bruschetta, actor, theater director and screenwriter, which will be presented by the journalist Franco Cicero ..

A limited number of 40 students / postgraduates / doctoral students can participate in each event. The dialogue with the guests will continue even at dinner time.
