On 3 October at 4.00 pm the CERISI and DOCME 1908 laboratories of the Messina Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Friends of the “Franz Riccobono” Messina Museum Association, the AssoCEA Messina APS inaugurate the exhibition: “A view on the succession of Messina earthquakes and reconstructions ”.
The exhibition consists of the sessions: "The iconography of earthquakes in the collection of Franz Riccobono" (coordinated by Luigi Montalbano, Nino Dini, Francesco Cancellieri and Francesca Passalacqua, staging Alessio Altadonna, Antonino Nastasi, Antonino Donato) and "The building reconstruction of Twentieth century told by contemporary news ”(coordinated by Ornella Fiandaca, Francesca Passalacqua, Alesssandra Cernaro, staging Giuseppina Currò, Graziano Tomasello, Giuseppe Angileri).
The event, open to the public, will be introduced by the institutions. The engravings on display are original and are part of the Franz Riccobono collection. Ms. Carmen Farina Riccobono will be present.
