ONLINE NEWSSTAND AND PANDORACAMPUS: TWO NEW PLATFORMS FOR UNIME USERS

"The two platforms signed by the University for access to a vast collection of e-books, textbooks in digital format and national and international newspapers are finally active, equipped with tools and features suitable for the needs of students with disabilities and DSA.
The first platform, Pandoracampus, owned by the publishing company "Il Mulino", it gathers a vast collection of textbooks in ebook format that can be used with digital loan and equipped with a series of features typical of e-learning environments useful for preparing for exams. currently available for digital loan, but the collection is constantly growing, they are mainly from the human and social sciences sectors and at the moment there are more than fifty books already adopted by the University for the exams. Teachers have free access to e-books and have dedicated teaching materials. The second platform, Online Newsstand diOnline Media Library (MLOL), inaugurates the University digital newspaper library service designed to offer an opportunity for information anchored to current events, of extensive use for study courses and linguistic disciplines.
The platform offers a large collection of over 7,000 national and international newspapers, political and economic weeklies and magazines. An Open Catalog of millions of open access non-academic ebooks is also available. Access to Online Newsstand is reserved for UniME institutional users with GAIA credentials."
