CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY, THE PROVISIONS FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF FROM 1 TO 14 FEBRUARY

From 1st February to 14th February and subject to further new provisions:

 

1. Educational activities, including those at decentralized offices, will take place remotely;

 

2. The attendance activities of the workshops will take place electronically;

 

3. The book lending service will be restored, the libraries will not be usable as study rooms;

4. The exams will be held exclusively oral, at a distance;

5. The graduation sessions, as well as all the exams, will take place remotely;

6. Internships will take place remotely; for TFA support and internships of the Bachelor of Science of Primary Education, school managers will be reiterated to provide for the entry into virtual classrooms of trainees enrolled in the relevant courses;

7. The research activities of non-medical doctoral students and undergraduates not involved in health care activities can be carried out in the presence; all the activities of the trainees will continue to take place in the presence;

8. Transfers related to the Erasmus program and to all international mobility programs are suspended for teachers, students and TA staff of Sicilian universities, except in cases of courses already started; Sicilian universities remain available, in the presence of requests received from foreign universities, in compliance with the directives of the Erasmus agency, to welcome students who can attend remotely. Curricular and post-curricular internships outside the region and abroad are also suspended;

9. The meetings of the collegial bodies of all levels and levels will take place remotely, exclusively through the teams platform.

 

10. All conference and congress activities in attendance are suspended, including seminars and workshops: these activities can only be held remotely.

 

In addition, from 1 to 14 February the staff is placed in agile mode. To this end, managers, unit managers and department directors must place staff into work only remotely.

It is stipulated that the remote working mode must be carried out during the expected ordinary working hours by detecting one's presence in service through the use of the virtual stamping system;

At present, the following categories of activities considered essential and non-deferrable to be carried out in presence are identified by identifying a staff supervision that will be indicated by the individual managers: Prevention and protection service, car park service, management activities of works, RUP, DEC, protocol, green maintenance, animal care activities, tender commissions, University library service.
