On the occasion of the international day against violence against women, it will take place, from 22 to 26 November, a series of seminars entitled "No more excuses". Interdisciplinary focus on gender-based violence.
The event is aimed above all at female students and students of all university degree courses, in order to stimulate reflection on a topic of great social importance and, unfortunately, very topical.
The meetings, in mixed mode on the Microsoft Teams platform and in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate, will be attended, among others, by H.E. the Prefect of Messina, Dr. Cosima Di Stani, the Assistant Prosecutor at the Messina Public Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Giovannella Scaminaci, several prominent professionals and some university professors.
Five aspects that will be explored during the meetings: health and judicial protection, domestic violence, that in the workplace, non-violent communication and the identification of victims of violence.
The recognition of 0.25 CFU per meeting is expected.
