The University of Messina has shared its sport facilities with the local community for a sport event to boost the social integration of the different members of society: “Games Without Frontiers”. The event was held during the month of June 2019. The games have been attended by university students, technical administrative staff, young migrants, and representatives of non-profit organizations organized in 10 teams. The competition has been won by an all-female team. The games have been culturally enriched with a conference on blood donation, entitled “La donazione del sangue e lo sport – Sentirsi in forma con un gesto d’altruismo”.
