The University of Messina took part in a global yearly campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys: “The World Kidney Day”, held on March 17 of the 2019. This event aimed both to encourage preventive behaviours in the population, and to highlight the key role of all medical professionals in detecting and reducing the risk of Acute Kidney Failure and, above all, it stressed the importance of Transplantation as a best-outcome option for kidney failure.
