The University of Messina, in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University and the University of Milan, organized a two-day conference (27-28 November 2019) on the relationship between sexuality and cinema in the postwar era in Italy (1948-1978). The conference focused on sexuality from a sociological point of view and on how the press has balanced between sexual education and virginity.
