The Economics Department hosted the Health, Sport and Food Conference for three days (5th-7th of April 2019),  organized by the University of Messina for celebrating the Sport and Health International Day. Several speeches about agri-food marketing, nutrition and sports medicine were planned and executed. The conference took place under the patronage of CUS Unime, the Sports Medical Center of the University of Messina, the Bios Association, the provincial section of ENDAS, the regional section of the Italian Sports Lawyers Association, the Tennis and Sailing Club Messina and Olympialex (sports law portal), known for having created a specialized database for sports law scholars.
