Il Corso di laurea magistrale in Giurisprudenza mira a far conseguire la completezza della formazione nei diversi settori professionali cui il titolo dà accesso. A tal fine, assicura l'acquisizione sia dell'insieme delle conoscenze essenziali in campo giuridico, attraverso lo studio analitico ed interdisciplinare delle varie branche del diritto, con elementi di approfondimento, anche di carattere storico, utili a valutare l'evoluzione degli istituti del diritto positivo, sia di particolari abilità, indispensabili nell'affrontare problemi interpretativi e applicativi del diritto, comprese le tecniche di una buona metodologia di analisi e di aggiornamento.
Il relativo percorso di studi attua un indirizzo formativo coerente rispetto alle rinnovate esigenze dei vari settori professionali cui possono accedere i laureati della classe, orientando i contenuti agli obiettivi formativi qualificanti definiti dal D.M. 25 novembre 2005, che si intendono in questa sede integralmente richiamati e recepiti.
In conformità a tali obiettivi, il Corso fornisce, anzitutto, una solida formazione di base e caratterizzante, attraverso l'insegnamento approfondito delle materie di studio relative ai diversi ambiti disciplinari di cui al menzionato decreto. Il contenuto dei diversi insegnamenti, per risultare sempre coerente con gli obiettivi formativi della classe di laurea e con le rinnovate e sempre più complesse esigenze dei vari settori professionali cui possono accedere i laureati della classe, è costantemente aggiornato, sviluppato in forma interdisciplinare e tesa a stimolare l'acquisizione e l'affinamento di una buona metodologia interpretativa, di buone capacità analitiche e sintetiche, di conoscenze su cui basare valutazioni di carattere critico, nonché delle abilità richieste per cogliere le implicazioni e connessioni sistematiche dei problemi giuridici.
Pur nella unitarietà del percorso formativo, sono poi proposti, mediante una congrua diversificazione degli insegnamenti affini e integrativi, sei indirizzi (storico-giuridico, filosofico-giuridico e filosofico-politico; privatistico; pubblicistico; commercialistico-navigazionistico; internazionalistico, comparatistico e dell'Unione europea; penalistico) finalizzati ad una migliore caratterizzazione del predetto percorso formativo per consentire al laureato l'acquisizione di competenze e conoscenze specifiche in determinati settori utili nella prospettiva di una successiva specializzazione professionale post laurea. Pertanto, se, da un lato, il curriculum del Corso di laurea presenta contenuti formativi molto articolati, con un numero significativo di insegnamenti attivati e una elevata diversificazione delle materie di studio, dall'altro lato, attraverso la previsione di una base formativa vincolata e caratterizzante, si raggiunge l'obiettivo fondamentale di dare al laureato un forte legame sistematico ed interdisciplinare tra le varie conoscenze giuridiche, che tendono a settorializzarsi e frammentarsi, unitamente alle conoscenze e competenze necessarie per affrontare successivamente anche percorsi variegati e differenziati.
I contenuti del Corso e le metodologie impiegate nelle attività formative sono, inoltre, finalizzati a far sì che i laureati
- acquisiscano ed utilizzino con sicura padronanza i linguaggi tecnici caratterizzanti delle singole branche del diritto, sappiano valutare i singoli istituti del diritto positivo, oltre che nella loro configurazione dogmatica e nelle innovazioni in essi via via introdotte, anche nella prospettiva storica;
- sappiano recepire gli influssi derivanti dai rinnovati contesti sopranazionali di produzione ed applicazione del diritto ed acquisire padronanza nell'impiego degli strumenti informatici e dei più sofisticati e moderni sistemi multimediali di reperimento di fonti e materiali giuridici.
Inoltre, il curriculum formativo, per consentirne l'utilizzazione nei corsi di specializzazione post laurea per le professioni legali, mediante appositi insegnamenti (o moduli di altri insegnamenti) caratterizzati da specifiche metodologie, prevede l'acquisizione di adeguate conoscenze
- degli aspetti istituzionali ed organizzativi degli ordinamenti giudiziari;
- della deontologia professionale, della logica e argomentazione giuridica e forense, della sociologia giuridica, dell'informatica giuridica;
- del linguaggio giuridico inglese.
I suindicati obiettivi di formazione sono, in linea di principio, comuni alle diverse aree omogenee del Corso, ossia ai diversi «blocchi tematici» che compongono il piano di studio, costituente la declinazione più particolareggiata, al livello locale, dei già richiamati obiettivi formativi qualificanti definiti al livello nazionale dal D.M. 25 novembre 2005. Peraltro, le singole «aree di apprendimento» si caratterizzano, altresì, per propri specifici contenuti dipendenti dai settori scientifico-disciplinari di riferimento e si prestano, con varietà di tecniche e metodologie di analisi, alla preparazione, impiego ed affinamento di particolari abilità e competenze.
