Obiettivi Formativi

Conoscere le principali patologie chirurgiche (di chirurgia plastica, di chirurgia maxillofacciale, delle malattie odontostomatologiche), la patologia chirurgica di base: ustioni, ferite, tetano, piaghe, ulcere, i tumori, i trapianti . Lo studente deve essere in grado di valutare, gli esiti motori del postoperatorio, e saper considerare eventuali potenziali complicanze che possano interferire, durante la fase di recupero, con il raggiungimento di ottimali outcome funzionali. Per l’approccio riabilitativo al paziente chirurgico nel postoperatorio, lo studente deve essere informato sulle linee guide generali per la riabilitazione post-operatoria.

Learning Goals

Know the main surgical pathologies (plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, odontostomatological diseases), the basic surgical pathology: burns, wounds, tetanus, sores, ulcers, tumors, transplants. The student must be able to evaluate the post-operative motor outcomes and be able to consider any potential complications that may interfere, during the recovery phase, with the achievement of optimal functional outcomes. For the rehabilitation approach to the surgical patient in the postoperative period, the student must be informed of the general guidelines for post-operative rehabilitation.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology of the main diseases of surgical interest. The student must comply prerequisites required by the course of Fhysiotherapy.

Verifiche dell'apprendimento

La verifica dell’apprendimento sarà effettuata in almeno tre sessioni annue, con esame finale orale che accerti la preparazione del candidato. La valutazione della preparazione finale terrà conto dell’impegno dimostrato durante il corso delle lezioni, del grado di preparazione raggiunto, della proprietà di linguaggio in relazione agli argomenti trattati e delle capacità espositive.

Assessment

Verification of learning will be carried out in at least three annual sessions, with a final oral exam to ascertain the candidate's preparation. The evaluation of the final preparation will take into account the commitment shown during the course of the lessons, the degree of preparation achieved, the ownership of language in relation to the topics covered and the exhibition skills.
