Obiettivi Formativi
Questo corso introduce alcuni dei temi e delle idee centrali dell'etica filosofica. Impareremo a conoscere diverse teorie etiche, studieremo diversi quadri concettuali nella teoria dei valori e applicheremo le nostre conoscenze a questioni importanti come il cambiamento climatico e il nostro trattamento degli animali. Questo corso ti darà l'opportunità di sviluppare il tuo pensiero su questioni importanti e di lavorare sulle tue capacità argomentative e di ragionamento.Learning Goals
This course introduces some of the central topics and ideas of philosophical ethics. We will learn about different ethical theories, we will investigate different conceptual frameworks in value theory and we will apply our knowledge to important issues such as climate change and to our treatment of animals. This course will provide an opportunity to develop your own thinking about important issues and work on your argumentative and reasoning skills.Metodi didattici
Questo corso sarà tenuto principalmente in seminari in cui si analizzano e discutono testi importanti. Occasionalmente, potranno aver luogo lezioni. In preparazione ai seminari, agli studenti verrà chiesto di rispondere a domande in relazione alla lettura del seminario. Le presentazioni degli studenti possono far parte integrante del corso.Teaching Methods
This course will be taught primarily in seminars in which we analyse and discuss important texts. There may be occasional lectures. In preparation for seminars, students will be asked to answer questions in relation to the seminar reading. Student presentations may form part of the teaching.Prerequisiti

Questo corso si concluderà con un esame scritto in cui dovranno essere redatti due brevi saggi di massimo 1000 parole ciascuno su domande a risposta chiusa. La partecipazione al corso contribuirà al voto complessivo.Assessment
