Obiettivi Formativi

Capacità di definire e descrivere le tecnologie e le tipologie di immagini biomediche, i blocchi funzionali dei sistemi informativi sanitari, i flussi informativi da supportare, il ruolo delle ICT, le criticità e le sfide associate a tale ruolo. Capacità di descrivere e specificare quali siano le tecniche per rendere sicuri i documenti e la loro trasmissione telematica. Acquisizione delle nozioni necessarie per comprendere gli elementi di statistica descrittiva ed inferenziale riscontrabili nella letteratura scientifica, organizzare, elaborare, interpretare dati scientifici e comunicare idoneamente le informazioni di sintesi ottenute. Capacità di utilizzare nell'attività clinica le migliori evidenze scientifiche per il proprio paziente e per la sua professione. Capacità di acquisire, leggere, interpretare e utilizzare le evidenze scientifiche, le fonti della ricerca, la letteratura e le banche dati per offrire le migliori e più recenti cure.

Learning Goals

Ability to describe the technologies and types of biomedical images, the functional blocks of health information systems, the information flows to be supported, the role of ICT, the critical issues and challenges associated with this role. Ability to describe and specify what techniques to make secure documents and their electronic transmission. Acquisition of the necessary knowledge to understand the elements of descriptive and inferential statistics found in the scientific literature, organize, elaborate, interpret scientific data and appropriately communicate the summary information obtained. Ability to use the best scientific evidence for his patient and his profession in clinical activity. Ability to acquire, read, interpret and use scientific evidence, research sources, literature and databases to offer the best and most recent treatments.

Prerequisiti

Per poter comprendere ed utilizzare i concetti descritti nel corso si richiede la conoscenza di elementi di base di matematica, di informatica e di inglese scientifico.
