Modulo: 4599/1 - NEUROFISIOPATOLOGIA DEL SONNO L'esame finale si svolgerà in modalità orale che verterà su Poligrafia e Studio del Sonno e Fisiopatologia del sistema respiratori in sonno. L’esame orale sarà preceduto dalla prova pratica di montaggio/applicazione di polisonnigrafo ambulatoriale su paziente. Assessment

Modulo: 4599/1 - NEUROFISIOPATOLOGIA DEL SONNO The final exam will be oral and will focus on all of the presented material (Poligraphy and Sleep) as well as on the physiopathology of the respiratory system during sleep. The oral exam will be preceded by a practical test requiring the student to mount the polysomnogram device on a patient correctly. Modulo: 4599/1 - NEUROFISIOPATOLOGIA DEL SONNO Le funzioni del sonno. Neurofisiologia del sonno e della vigilanza. La stadiazione del sonno. Tecniche di registrazione poligrafica stanziale ed ambulatoriali. Refertazione del polisonnogramma. Ipnogramma normale dell'adulto. Le insonnie e le ipersonnie centrali. La Narcolessia La diagnostica dell'eccessiva sonnolenza diurna: questionari e tecniche strumentali neurofisiologiche. I disturbi respiratori in sonno: OSA, Apnee centrali e sindrome da overlap. Tecniche diagnostiche, comorbidità e presidi terapeutici. I disturbi del ritmo circadiano e la diagnostica actigrafica. Le parasonnie: Disordini dell'arousal e parasonnie REM I disturbi del movimento sonno-relati: bruxismo, PLMS e RLS I movimenti fisiologici in sonno. Modulo: 4599/1 - NEUROFISIOPATOLOGIA DEL SONNO The functions of sleep. Neurophysiology of sleep and wakefulness. The stages of sleep. Inpatient and outpatient polygraphic recording techniques. Polysomnogram interpretation and scoring. Typical hypnogram of adult sleep Insomnias and central hypersomnias. Narcolepsy The diagnosis of excessive daytime sleepiness: questionnaires and neurophysiological instrumental techniques. Respiratory disorders in sleep: OSA, Central Apneas, and Overlap Syndrome. Diagnostic techniques, comorbidity, and therapeutic aids. Circadian rhythm disorders and actigraphic diagnostics. Parasomnias: Disorders of arousal and REM parasomnias Sleep-related movement disorders: Bruxism, PLMS, and RLS Physiological movements during sleep.
