Obiettivi Formativi

Conoscenze di base sulle patologie di pertinenza neurologica, gastroenterologica , nefrologica e durante il periodo adolescenziale che possono richiedere intensivo supporto infermieristico nella gestione del paziente e della terapia. Lo studente al termine delle attività didattiche, dovrà aver acquisito i concetti e le competenze per la gestione infermieristica di pertinenza, osservando procedure, protocolli e piani di assistenza, relativi alle prestazioni nei confronti del piccolo paziente.

Learning Goals

Esami orali di profitto, a fine corso. Eventuali test di valutazione, “in itinere” o al termine del ciclo di lezioni, saranno tenuti in considerazione al momento dell’esame finale.

Course Syllabus

- Pediatric neurology: Neurobiological basis of neuro-development; Functional network development; Clinical semiotics of physiological and pathological development processes; Main neuropsychiatric pathologies in developmental age: cerebral palsy, childhood epilepsy, febrile seizures, neuromuscular diseases, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorders. - Adolescentology: Hypogonadism; Disorders of the menstrual cycle; Hypertrichosis, hirsutism and acne; Contraception in the adolescent; Biological aspects of sexual differentiation; Autoimmune thyroid diseases. - Pediatric nephrology: Approach to the patient with nephrological pathology; The child with urinary tract infection; The child with glomerulonephritis; The child with nephrotic syndrome; The child with acute and chronic renal failure; The child on acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal treatment. - Pediatric nursing in clinical area 2: Correct application of diagnostic and therapeutic prescriptions; Planning and implementation of the health education intervention; Procedures and protocols and guidelines, regulations, recommendations and care paths: . Urination disorders in the child: urination control, diuresis / enuresis (diaper weight, water balance management); Nursing nursing to patients with renal pathologies (UTI, nephrotic syndrome, acute and chronic renal failure); Peritoneal dialysis / hemodialysis procedure; Nursing care for the patient with anorexia / bulimia; Adolescents and alcoholism care approach; Teenage obesity; The hospitalization of the child: hospitalization, safety, discharge and play; The child and pain: perception, detection and management (measurement methods); Management to the child with fever; Assistance to the child with seizures; Assistance to the child with head injury; Nutrition education in children: natural and artificial feeding; Enteral / Parenteral feeding management; Assistance to the child with vomiting and / or dehydration; Acute and chronic diarrhea: etiology, treatment and nursing skills in the management of the hospitalized child.
