Obiettivi Formativi

Portare lo studente a una conoscenza della lingua inglese pari al livello B2 del Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento, con un’autonomia nell’uso della grammatica inglese e del lessico tecnico che gli permetta di parlare e ascoltare l’inglese scientifico senza difficoltà. Fornire allo studente una strategia per comprendere testi specifici scritti in inglese con l’opportunità di imparare vocaboli e frasi inerenti la specializzazione.

Learning Goals

Students will achieve a level of English equivalent to a B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference, and will gain the necessary confidence in using English grammar and technical vocabulary for oral production and comprehension of scientific English. Techniques will be taught which will allow the student to access and understand texts of a scientific nature with ease in a second language (English) with attention being paid to the assimilation of vocabulary and expressions relevant to the field of study

Lezioni interattive svolte in inglese. Esercitazione delle abilità: reading, writing, listening. Spiegazioni e attività di re-impiego dei nuovi elementi grammaticali e lessicali.

Esame finale scritto inerenti la grammatica e le funzioni linguistiche relative al livello B2, l’uso del lessico tecnico e la comprensione di un testo specialistico.

Written exam on grammar and language at B2 level of the CEFR, use of technical vocabulary and the comprehension of an academic text.

Assimilazione tecniche di apprendimento come estrapolare e analizzare, tecniche che permettono a un non madrelingua di affrontare un testo specifico scritto in inglese con sufficiente familiarità, cogliendo il significato generale ed estrapolando l’informazione richiesta. Lessico tecnico per descrivere risultati di ricerca, tabelle e istogrammi, quantità, processi e la sequenza di idee. Apprendimento di strutture lessicali inerenti la specializzazione.
