Obiettivi Formativi
Il corso prevede attività hands-on per tutti gli studenti, organizzati in piccoli gruppi composti da max 5 studenti, ed ha come obiettivo di mettere in pratica le conoscenze acquisite durante il corso di studi, proiettando lo studente verso problematiche specifiche della professione.Learning Goals
The course includes hands-on activities for all students, organized in small groups of up to 5 students, and aims to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the course of study, projecting the student towards specific issues of the profession.Metodi didattici
L’esecuzione delle necroscopie è affidata agli studenti con la supervisione del docente o tutor. Ciascuna attività deve essere svolta in forma possibilmente indipendente (PI) o sotto supervisione (PS) ed è necessario vederla almeno una volta (S), secondo quanto richiesto nel libretto delle abilita’ pratiche dello studente (logbook).Teaching Methods
The execution of the necroscopies is entrusted to the students under the supervision of the teacher or tutor. Each activity must be carried out as possibly independent (PI) or under supervision (PS) and it is necessary to see it at least once (S), as required by the student's practical skills booklet (logbook).Prerequisiti
Possedere le conoscenze di materie propedeutiche (Patologia generale veterinaria, Malattie infettive, Patologia aviare, Parassitologia e Malattie parassitarie, Anatomia patologica e autopsie) indispensabili alla comprensione dei processi lesivi osservati ed alla relativa tecnica di esecuzione, attestate dal superamento dei rispettivi esami.Prerequisites
Possess knowledge of preparatory subjects (General Veterinary Pathology, Infectious Diseases, Avian Pathology, Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases, Pathological Anatomy and Autopsies) indispensable for the understanding of the observed lesion processes and the related technique of execution, attested by the passing of the respective examinations.Verifiche dell'apprendimento
La verifica dell’apprendimento avviene in sede collegiale (commissione tirocinio) dove saranno valutate le attività svolte dal singolo studente e riportate nel logbook e i giudizi derivanti dai questionari tutor e del responsabile della specifica attività di tirocinio. La commissione tirocinio emetterà il giudizio finale in forma scritta.Assessment
The assessment of the learning takes place in a collegiate office (training committee) where the activities carried out by the individual student as reported in the logbook and the judgments from the tutor questionnaires and the person responsible for the specific training activity will be assessed. The training committee will issue the final judgment in writing.Programma del Corso
Le attività pratiche del tirocinio Necroscopie sono volte ad eseguire un esame post-mortem sistematico, registrare le osservazioni, campionare, conservare e trasportare i tessuti. - Esecuzione necroscopie animali da compagnia (cani e gatti) (10 ore) - Esecuzione necroscopie ruminanti (piccoli e grandi) e suini (5 ore) - Esecuzione necroscopia equini (3 ore) - Esecuzione necroscopie coniglio, roditori, uccelli ed esotici (2 ore) - Redazione dei referti necroscopici (2 ore) - Eseguire il campionamento dei tessuti, la loro conservazione ed il trasporto in laboratorio (3 ore)Course Syllabus
The practical activities of the Necroscopy training are aimed at carrying out a systematic post-mortem examination, recording the observations, sampling, storing and transporting the tissues. - Perform companion animal (dogs and cats) necropsies (10 hours) - Perform ruminants (small and large) and pigs necropsies (5 hours) - Perform horse necropsy (3 hours) - Perform rabbit, rodents, birds and exotic necroscopies (2 hours) - Writing necroscopic reports (2 hours) - Sample and store tissues and transport them to the laboratory (3 hours)Testi di riferimento: Testi utilizzati per la preparazione delle discipline propedeutiche
